ASSOCIATES
Including co-teachers and teaching assistants, instructors may provide administrative access to people who are not participating in the simulation. Instructors may create new associates by clicking the Add button (located in the top right corner) and entering their first, last, and display names.
The system will produce a user ID and password for the associated party to log into. Instructors will be responsible for passing along the user ID and password to the associates they supervise. Instructors assign associates by choosing a name and then placing check marks next to the industries that the associates will work in. Remove an associate by selecting the name and then clicking Delete in the top right corner of the screen.

PAGE OF WELCOME
The Active Courses link offers a list of current industries that may be explored further. By selecting the Course Title or Industry ID from the drop-down menu, the Welcome Page for that industry is shown. The Welcome Page provides a high-level overview of the Course and Industry information. There is a lot of fundamental information on this page, including when further modules are expected to begin, which rounds are slated to begin, and whether or not the Round Schedule was input.
CHECKLIST FOR ORDINARY APPLICATIONS
The Standard Checklist offers easy access to the Excel® versions of the Capstone or Foundation Spreadsheets, as well as the debrief spreadsheets available to teachers, CapDebrief and FoundationDebrief, which are also available on the Capstone and Foundation Spreadsheets. User IDs and passwords for instructors may be utilized with the Rehearsal, Capstone, and Foundation Spreadsheets, which are all available in Excel® format.
ROSTER
In Tournament mode, participants are listed by team, but in Footrace mode, participants are listed by name. Participants who have not yet been allocated to a firm are identified as unassigned.
ACTIVITIES OF THE TEAM (TOURNAMENT ONLY)
Ready implies that a corporation believes its choices are final, and that they have decided to “Notify The Instructor” when they saved the spreadsheet from which they were working. Participants may continue to upload after receiving the message; they are not locked out as a result of receiving the notification. There have been no uploads for this round, thus the status is “Waiting.” The system will utilize the most recent set of uploaded choices at the time of processing, regardless of whether or not the team has declared them as “final” at that time.
TEAMS ARE BEING ASSIGNED
Once participants have registered, they will have the option of placing themselves on a company’s list of employees. If teachers prefer that firms establish on their own, there is no need to offer company responsibilities. Faculty regulate business assignments in Footraces via the Manage Industry section, while the Industry Roster area enables faculty to transfer employees from one firm or industry to another.
ASSIGNMENT TO A TEAM (TOURNAMENT ONLY)
Participants might build their own “partnerships” with instructors, or instructors can advise participants to join certain firms with which they are familiar. In order to maintain control over business composition in Tournament Industry, either instruct participants which company to join or utilize the optional Team Assignment field to assign players to certain teams.
Andrews, Baldwin, Chester, Digby, Erie, and Ferris are the names of the Capstone and Foundation corporations, respectively.
